Wachsen Privacy Policy
This page describes how Wachsen handles your data. Wachsen is designed as a local-first app — your habits and progress stay on your device. This policy explains exactly what is processed and under what legal basis.

2. Data processed by Wachsen
Wachsen processes the following data that you enter or create within the app:
- Habit names, icons, colors, and frequency settings you create
- Daily check-in records and completion amounts
- Reminder notification times you configure
- Habit strength scores calculated locally from your check-in history
All of the above is stored locally on your device. None of this data is transmitted to external servers by Wachsen.
3. Notifications
Wachsen can send local push notifications to remind you about scheduled habits. Notifications are generated on-device based on reminder times you set. No notification content is transmitted to external servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your iOS Settings.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent, granted when you enable notifications in iOS Settings.
4. Local processing
All habit data — check-in records, strength scores, and settings — is stored and processed locally on your iPhone. Wachsen does not upload your habit data to any server.
Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data. Individual habits can also be deleted or archived from within the app.
5. iCloud Sync (optional, Pro feature)
With a Wachsen Pro subscription, you can optionally enable iCloud sync to keep your habits and check-in history in sync across multiple iOS devices. When enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's iCloud privacy policy. Luminova Labs does not have access to your iCloud data.
iCloud sync is opt-in and can be disabled at any time in the app settings.
6. Wachsen Pro — In-App Purchases
Wachsen offers an optional Pro upgrade via Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment data is handled exclusively by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. Luminova Labs does not receive or store your payment information.
The subscription or purchase can be managed at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
7. Analytics and diagnostics
Wachsen does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If Apple's standard App Store analytics is enabled on your device (controlled in your iOS settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), aggregated, anonymised usage data may be shared with Apple and optionally with app developers. Luminova Labs does not receive individually identifiable data through this mechanism.
8. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about the personal data processed about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request correction of inaccurate data. In the app, you can edit habit names, frequencies, and settings directly.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may delete habits directly in the app or by removing the app from your device.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request that processing be restricted under certain circumstances.
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object at any time.

9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for the controller is:
