How to use Pegify
1. Getting Started
When you open Pegify for the first time, you will see an empty library. To get started, tap the blue + button in the bottom-right corner. This opens the camera scanner.
Your worksheets are organized in two tabs:
- Worksheets – all your own scanned and saved worksheets
- Shared – worksheets you have shared as a PDF
2. Scanning a Worksheet
- Tap the blue + button in the bottom-right corner of the library.
- Hold your iPhone or iPad over the worksheet. The app detects the edges automatically.
- Tap the shutter button or let the app capture automatically.
- If the worksheet has multiple pages, scan each page in sequence.
- Tap Save when all pages are scanned.
The worksheet is now saved in your library with an automatically generated title.
Tip: Scan in good lighting for the best image quality. Avoid shadows over the page.
3. Organizing by Subject
Keeping your worksheets organized by subject makes it easier to find them later.
Creating a subject:
- Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner to open Settings.
- Tap + to create a new subject.
- Enter a name (e.g. "Mathematics") and choose an icon.
- Tap Done to save.
Assigning a subject to a worksheet:
- Tap the ⋮ menu on the right side of a worksheet row.
- Tap Edit.
- Select the subject from the list, or create a new one.
- Tap Done.
Filtering by subject: Tap the Worksheets tab label to open a dropdown. Select a subject to show only worksheets from that subject.
4. Editing & Erasing a Worksheet
Use the built-in eraser to remove handwritten answers from a filled-in worksheet so it can be reused.
- Tap on a worksheet in the library to open it.
- Tap the brush button (🖌️) in the bottom-right corner to activate the eraser.
- Draw over the answers you want to erase with your finger or Apple Pencil.
- Use the undo arrow (↩) to undo the last stroke if needed.
- Tap the brush button again to deactivate.
- Tap Back — your changes are saved automatically.
Tip: Print the cleaned worksheet and use it again for extra practice or revision.
Swipe left or right to move between pages of a multi-page worksheet.
5. Sharing a Worksheet
Share a worksheet as a PDF — for example with a classmate who needs to complete the tasks themselves.
- Open the worksheet you want to share.
- Make sure you have erased your answers first (see Section 4) if you do not want to share them.
- Tap the Share button (↑) in the top-right corner.
- The worksheet is exported as a PDF.
- Choose how to share: AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or any other app.
Shared worksheets appear in the Shared tab of your library so you always know what you have sent out.
Note: A Pegify Premium subscription is required to export and share worksheets as PDF.
