Pegify Privacy Policy

This page describes how Pegify handles your data. Pegify is designed to keep your schoolwork private and on your device. This policy explains exactly what is processed and under what legal basis.

2. Data processed by Pegify

Pegify processes the following data that you enter or create within the app:

• Photos and scans of worksheets (captured via your device camera)
• Subject names and icons you create to organize your worksheets
• Worksheet titles you assign or that are generated automatically
• Eraser strokes applied to worksheet images

All of the above is stored locally on your device. None of this data is transmitted to external servers by Pegify.

3. Camera access

Pegify requires access to your device camera to scan worksheets. Camera access is only used while you are actively scanning. No images are captured, stored, or transmitted without your direct action. You can revoke camera access at any time in your device settings.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent, granted when you allow camera access and actively scan a worksheet.

4. Local processing

All worksheet content — scanned images, subject assignments, and edits — is stored and processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. Pegify does not upload your worksheets to any server.

Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored worksheet data. Individual worksheets can also be deleted from within the app.

5. PDF export and sharing

With a Pegify Premium subscription, you can export worksheets as PDF files and share them using your device's standard share sheet (AirDrop, Messages, Mail, etc.). When you share a PDF, the data is transferred through the channel you select. Pegify has no control over what happens to the file after you share it.

Sharing is always a deliberate action you initiate — nothing is shared automatically.

6. Pegify Premium — In-App Purchases

Pegify offers an optional Premium subscription via Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment data is handled exclusively by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. Luminova Labs does not receive or store your payment information.

The subscription can be managed and cancelled at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

7. Analytics and diagnostics

Pegify does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If Apple's standard App Store analytics is enabled on your device (controlled in your iOS/iPadOS settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), aggregated, anonymised usage data may be shared with Apple and optionally with app developers. Luminova Labs does not receive individually identifiable data through this mechanism.

8. Children's privacy

Pegify is designed for students, including younger children using the app under parental supervision. The app does not collect personal data from children. Worksheet images are stored locally and never shared without the user's active action.

9. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about the personal data processed about you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request correction of inaccurate data. In the app, you can edit worksheet titles and subjects directly.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may delete worksheets directly in the app or by removing the app from your device.
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request that processing be restricted under certain circumstances.
• Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object at any time.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for the controller is:
